This project was inherited from a previous shop that had started doing some minor changes. Upon our initial inspection and discussion with the customer, we decided on a complete front suspension replacement with an Art Morrison IFS kit. The original dash was removed and a custom wood dash with new gauges was installed along with a new tilt steering column. Once the front suspension and dash were completed the truck received a complete paint job. Before re-installing the engine it was completely painted, detailed, and received a new March serpentine belt system. The 50 also got a new wiring harness, complete Wilwood disk brake conversion, a Vintage Air heating and A/C system, and custom stereo system. The truck returned at a later date to receive a complete Air Ride suspension system, four link rear end, aluminum fuel tank, wood bed kit, and stainless trim pieces on the hood.
